Reward yourself for your season of hard work and training with this end-of-season luxury retreat at Chateau de Camon in the foothills of the Pyrenees mountains in France. We'll keep the cycling kilometers modest and spend our time enjoying this oasis of peace and the fabulous cuisine and vintages of their kitchen and cellar!

What's included

Six days of modest cycling and a daily informal discussion session led by professional endurance coach Marc Becker on various aspects of active living and combining these into a balanced lifestyle. During the week we'll discuss topics such as combining training and commuting, healthy eating for busy people, balancing the catabolic effects of endurance training with the need to recharge and rebuild, what's the best vintage wine ever, and other weighty subjects! Your week also includes:

7 nights accommodation at Chateau de Camon 7 dinners and breakfasts A daily guided cycle in the surrounding area Transfer from Carcassonne airport or train station Daily massage Daily stetching and core stability or yoga session Welcome beverage Tours de France cycling jersey Two excursions to local wineries and the famous medieval town of Mirepoix

Cost

1795 Euros covers guiding and the above list. A 50% refund is available for any cancellations up to 30 days prior to the Retreat. Minimum 4 participants required. All beverage expenses are extra. Once you book your Retreat, we'll send you an email with further details and a list of what to bring.

Location

Camon is a small village nestled snuggly in the foothills of the Pyrenees. Included on the list of "Most Beautiful Villages in France", the village is dominated by an 11th century Abbey that has been converted in to a hotel - the Chateau de Camon. Enjoy the still ambience of this special place with us.

Travel

You'll need to book a flight for Saturday arrival in Carcassonne or nearby (or sooner if you prefer). We will arrange to pick you up at Carcassonne airport and return you there at the end of the week. A van will be available during the week for sightseeing and excursions and can be made available for personal needs if required.
